LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Jeffrey Shawn Griffin, age 61, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 at his home. He was born January 22, 1962, in Charlotte, NC, a son of the late Max Griffin and Betty Daniels Griffin and was the husband of Debra Flowe Griffin. Mr. Griffin was an electrician with the IBEW Local 379 and worked for Preferred Electric and most recently, Southfair Electric.  He enjoyed playing disk golf, watching football, especially Georgia Bulldogs, camping, music of all kinds,  and building WWII model planes, aircraft carriers, and trucks.  Mr. Griffin loved spending time with family and friends more than anything.  He was a member of Mineral Springs Methodist Church.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debra F. Griffin; two sons, Joel Griffin (Nicole), and Jason Dean (Tarra); a daughter, Allison Pierce (Joe); a brother, Daniel Griffin; two sisters, Linda Cook (Bud), and Becky Stutts (Jimmy); six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Griffin; and two sisters, Paulette Griffin, and Kim Griffin.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Griffin will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Mineral Springs Methodist Church, 5915 Old Waxhaw- Monroe Rd., Monroe, NC, officiated by Dr. Tom Mabry. Visitation will be one hour immediately prior to the service at the church.
