LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Jeanette Jenkins Crenshaw, age 79, passed away, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Piedmont Medical Center. She was born October 31,1944, in York County, SC, a daughter of the late James W. Jenkins and Ruby Jenkins Jenkins and was the wife of the late Robert "Bobby" Crenshaw.  Mrs. Crenshaw was the Purchasing Manager at Smith Enterprise in Rock Hill, where she worked for 42 years.  She loved spending time and cooking for her family, especially birthdays and holidays.  Mrs. Crenshaw enjoyed reading, watching westerns, and traveling.  She has traveled to England and France with her grandson, Matt.  Mrs. Crenshaw was a member of Van Wyck United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Crenshaw is survived by two daughters, Janet Crenshaw, and Paula Crenshaw, both of Van Wyck; three grandchildren, Erica Gaddis (Kasey), Matt Helms, and Mikey Helms (Carley); eight great grandchildren, Avery Helms, Aliyah Helms, Kaylee Gaddis, Ethan Gaddis, Rhyan Helms, Callan Helms, Owen Helms, and Nolan Helms; and two brothers, Windell Jenkins (Darnell), and Harold Jenkins.

Mrs. Crenshaw was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a granddaughter, Jennifer Michelle Helms; three brothers, Eddie Jenkins, Tony Jenkins, and Jay Jenkins; and two sisters, Hilda Parker, and Peggy Westbrook.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Crenshaw will be 3:00 pm Friday, October 11, 2024, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Cody Huneycutt.  Burial will follow at Van Wyck Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorials may be made to Parkinson's Foundation, 5757 Waterford District Drive, Ste 310, Miami, FL 33126
