LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Jayne Hough Marshall Kirk, age 73, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She was born in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Raymond Hough and Frances Baker Hough and was the wife of James "Jim" B. Kirk. Due to the death of her mother at an early age, Jayne was raised by her aunt, the late Lottie Baker. Mrs. Kirk retired from First Citizens Bank and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. She loved her church, her family, her two sons and her only grandchild, Sarah Jayne Marshall.

Mrs. Kirk is survived by her husband James "Jim" Kirk of the home, a son, Ted F. Marshall and his wife Tina of John's Island, SC, a granddaughter, Sarah Jayne Marshall, a sister Anne Mullis and her husband Jim of Baltimore, MD, and her sister-in-law, Kathy Kirk Douglass and her husband Scott of Durham, NC.

Mrs. Kirk was preceded in death by a son, Ray Hammond Marshall and her first husband Ferris H. Marshall.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Kirk will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Luke United Methodist Church by Rev. William McCown, III and Rev. Mike Smith. Burial will be private.

The Family of Mrs. Kirk will receive friends immediately following the service and in lieu of flowers suggests memorial contributions to St. Luke United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 128 Providence Road, Lancaster SC 29720.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Kirk will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Luke United Methodist Church by Rev. William McCown, III and Rev. Mike Smith. Burial will be private.
