LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Jason Dean McManus "Bossman", age 47, passed away at his home. He was born September 20, 1976, in Lancaster, SC, son of the late Richard Franklin McManus and Judy Taylor McManus. Jason enjoyed computers, guns, and antiques. He was extremely smart and a very simple person. Jason was an avid Gamecock fan.

Jason is survived by his uncle, Kenneth McManus (Brenda); his aunt, Geraldine Plyler (Dewey); and a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Richard "Ricky" McManus, Jr.; paternal grandparents, J.D. McManus and Eula Mae Neely McManus; and maternal grandparents, Joseph Lidle Taylor and Dorothy Mae Carnes Taylor.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Jason will be 12:30 pm Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Lancaster Memorial Park.
