LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Janie Eubanks Faile, age 85, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at her home surrounded by her children. She was born December 8, 1931 in Jefferson, SC, the daughter of the late Luther Eubanks and Martha Faile Eubanks and was the wife of the late Archie Gilliam Faile, Sr. Mrs. Janie loved gardening, spending time with her family and going to church. She always had plenty of love to give and an open door to anyone who needed a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear or advice to give. Mrs. Janie was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.
Mrs. Janie is survived by a son, Albert Dickey Faile and his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Jean Wilson and her husband, Sam and LouAnn Myers and her husband, Bill; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Scott.
Mrs. Janie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sons, Tommy Faile, Randy Faile, Kenny Faile and Archie Faile, Jr.; five brothers, George Eubanks, Connely Eubanks, Willie Eubanks, Bud Eubanks and Joe Eubanks; and four sisters, Matty Eubanks, Sarah Payne, Smiley Hinson and Lou Pacachek.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Janie will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 27, 2017 at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church by Rev. Jessie Adams and Rev. Jack Nunn. Burial will follow at Blackmon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church and other times at the home of Sam and Jean Wilson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pleasant Dale Baptist Church Matching Grant Fund, 133 S. Potter Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
