LANCASTER, SC ~ Janice Sinclair Snipes, age 67, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Union County Hospice. She was born September 10, 1953 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Clark Sinclair and Wilma Massey Sinclair.  Janice enjoyed working in her flowers, dancing, shopping, and cooking.  She was a kind loving person who loved her family dearly and her dog, Rambo.  Janice was a member of New Harvest Freewill Baptist Church.

Janice is survived by her son, Cory "Tink" Lisenby; three brothers, Charles Sinclair, Buck Sinclair, and Timmy "Zeke" Sinclair; four sisters, Mildred Hefner, Judy Sinclair, Freida Helms, and Sonya Rivers (Shannon); and many nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her loving partner of 40 years, Kevin Lisenby; her parents; a brother, Ned Nelson Sinclair; and two sisters, Rachel Adams and Patsy Whitaker.

The Celebration of Life Service for Janice will be 2:00 pm Sunday, September 5, 2021 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. Brad Threatt.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.  For those who wish, memorials may be made to the New Harvest Freewill Baptist Church, 2086 Old Camden Monroe Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720.
