LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Janice Gregory McCain, age 63, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Atrium Health Pineville.  She was born July 10, 1957 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Curtis Franklin Gregory, Sr. and Athalee West Gregory and was the wife of Douglas Kirk McCain.  Janice was a retired Surgical Tech with Atrium Union.  She never met a stranger and just loved socializing with people.  Janice loved flowers, looking at beautiful sceneries, traveling, and going to her favorite place, the beach.  She was a wonderful cook.  Her family was her life, she loved every moment she spent with them, and loved her two cats, Simon and Oreo.  Janice was a member of Unity ARP where she enjoyed working in the nursery for several years.

Janice is survived by her husband of 30 years, Doug McCain; two sisters, Betty Horton (Elton), and Vicky Branham (Robert); three nephews, John Horton (Allison), David Gregory (Libby), and Mark McCain; two nieces, Stacy Walton (Chris), and Amy Huddleston (James); many great nieces, nephews, and cousins; and numerous friends and coworkers.

Janice was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Frankie Gregory; and her niece, Susan Cole.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Janice will be 3:00 pm Friday, May 21, 2021 at Unity ARP Church Cemetery.
