HEATH SPRINGS, SC:::::::::::Ms. Janice Denise Deas Flowers, age 58, died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at her home. She was born May 3, 1958 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Joseph B. Deas and Willie Mae Roberts Deas. Ms. Flowers loved gardening and working with flowers. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing and dirt track racing. Ms. Flowers loved her family and friends.

Ms. Flowers is survived by her fianc of 25 years, James Blackmon; a son, Marty Deas of Heath Springs; two step sons, Jamie Blackmon and his wife, Ashley, and Shane Blackmon; a brother, Joseph Michael Mike Deas and his wife, Gina of Lancaster; two sisters, Elaine Stogner and her husband, Bobby of Cheraw, and Karen Knight of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Summer, Brezzy, Marty, Jr., Gracie and Brantley; and six great grandchildren.

Ms. Flowers was preceded in death by her parents.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Ms. Flowers will be 2:00 pm Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Union Baptist Church by Rev. J.D. Wilson and Rev. Michael Morrison.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Union Baptist Church, 5003 Taxahaw Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720.
