LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Janice Teresa Fletcher Elliott, age 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, January 20, 2024.  She was born March 8, 1946, in Lancaster, daughter of the late Jessie B. Fletcher and Teresa Truesdale Fletcher.  Janice was employed by Springs Industries as a Customer Service Representative for 38 years. She enjoyed traveling, the beach, cooking, art, and caring for others. Janice was a kind, caring, loving, selfless person who would do anything for anyone. Family was most important to her, and she was a devoted loving mother and grandmother. Janice was a very active member of Heath Springs Baptist Church where she served at one time as the church secretary. She always had a strong Christian faith and belief.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Kim Miranda (Steve); her son, Brian Elliott (Brandi); five grandchildren, Grayson Catoe (Jillian), Kristin Miranda, London Elliott, Pierce Elliott, and Gianna Elliott; brother, David Fletcher (Kathy); and several nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by two husbands, Michael Elliott (father of her children) and Glen Baker; her parents; sister, Linda Rogers; and brother-in-law, Gene Rogers.

The Celebration of Life Service for Janice will be 2:00 pm Thursday, January 25, 2024, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Frankie Melton. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
