HEATH SPRINGS SC:::::::::::Mrs. Janice "Chris" Bailey Hinson, age 60, died Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born December 28, 1954 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Harold Bailey, Sr. and Bessie Mae Baskins Bailey and was the wife of Allan Jackson Hinson, Sr. Mrs. Hinson retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Rich Hill Baptist Church. She loved watching westerns and sports, nothing brought her more joy than watching her boys and grandchildren play ball. There were no limits on what she would do for her family and loved ones.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by her husband, Allan "Goat" Hinson, Sr., two sons, Allan Hinson, Jr. and Scott Hinson both of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Emily, Cody and Ansley Hinson; two brothers, Olin "Peanut" Bailey (Ethel) of Lancaster and Harold M. "Mike" Bailey (Beverly) of Belmont, NC; six sisters, Catherine Starnes (Jim), Ernestine Starnes (Ernest), and Ellen Mae Bailey all of Lancaster, Millie Hagins of Sharon, SC, Joan Deese of Lancaster and Brenda Settlemyre (Dennis) of York; a brother in law, Jimmy Hinson (Pam) of Hartsville and a sister in law, Judy Stacks of Lancaster.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Chris will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Rich Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Rod Yow. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday evening, August 29, 2015 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster and suggest memorial contributions be made to Rich Hill Baptist Church, Youth Fund, 1557 E. Doc Garris Road, Heath Springs, SC 29058.
