CHESTER, SC:::::::::::Ms. Janet Dean Perry Woods, age 54, died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Chester Regional Nursing Center. She was born November 25, 1962 in Rock Hill, SC a daughter to the late John Davis Perry and Patricia Ballard Perry. Janet was the wife of the late William Skeeter Woods. She loved playing games on her iPad, listening to Elvis and Queen. The Wizard of Oz was her all-time favorite movie. Janet was of the Methodist Faith.

Janet is survived by two aunts, Judy Ballard Gardner and her husband, Doug, of Myrtle Beach, and Cynthia Cindy Ballard Hilley and her husband, Mike, of Lancaster.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Janet will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Lancaster Memorial Park by Rev. Lynn Hough.

The family will receive friends following the service and suggest memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
