LANCASTER, SC:::::::Ms. Cassie Jane Pardue Blackmon, age 74, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at her home. She was born September 18, 1942 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Harold Leon Pardue and Ida Mae Richardson Pardue. Jane enjoyed reading, flowers and traveling. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and was recently attending Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Jane is survived by her sons, Jantzen Blackmon and his wife, Beth of Greenville, SC and Justin Nathan Nabo Blackmon and his former wife, Melody Blackmon of Lancaster; special friend, Don Plyler of Lancaster; a brother, Mike Pardue and his wife Candy also of Lancaster, and three grandchildren, Caleb Blackmon, Anna Blackmon and Liam Blackmon.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gene Pardue, Charles Pardue and Harold Pardue, and a sister, Ann Dagenhart.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Jane will be 4:00 pm Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Randy Mellichamp.
