LANCASTER, SC ~ Kenneth James "Jamie" Stevenson, age 39, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. He was born September 10, 1980 in Chester, SC, a son of Gina McManus Deas and James Lawrence Stevenson.  Jamie was hardworking, thoughtful, smart, intelligent, and very artistic. He was a perfectionist, always neat and clean. He was an ace of all trades, including carpentry and handyman work.  Jamie's profession was an installer of sprinkler systems and an electrician.  Jamie was good at everything he did. He will be missed greatly by his family.

Jamie is survived by his mother, Gina McManus Deas and her husband, Joseph Mike Deas; his father, James Lawrence Stevenson; a daughter, Kayden Lynn; three brothers, Michael Stevenson, Chris Stevenson (Brantley), and Ryan Stevenson (Courtney); two sisters, Hope Wilson (JD), and Beth Stevenson; a maternal grandmother, Flora Mae McManus; six nephews, Zayden, Asher, Trey, Tanner, Owen, and Connor; loving aunts and uncles; and a large extended family.

Jamie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Kathryn Stevenson, Sr.; and maternal grandfather, Kenneth McManus.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Jamie will be 3:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2020 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. JD Wilson and Rev. Dale Walters. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Mount Zion Baptist Church, 6964 Wateree Road, Great Falls, SC 29055.
