Lancaster, SC ~ Mr. Jamey Ray Cauthen, age 46, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born August 12, 1970 in Lancaster, a son of the late Rayford Lovic Cauthen and Bonnie Pate Osteen and was the husband of Crystal L. Cauthen. Jamey was a Foreman at G. Campbell. Jamey was a member of the Black Sheep Jeep Club and loved Volkswagons. He coached baseball and softball. Jamey loved Mexican food, especially LaChalupa. He loved college football and was an avid Gamecock fan. Jamey loved his family, friends and Rocky, his dog. Jamey loved being a member of Second Baptist Church.

Jamey is survived by his wife, Crystal L. Cauthen; two sons, T.J. Cauthen and his wife, Ashley, and Josh Cauthen of Dunbar, WV; three daughters, Katie Blue and her husband, Steven, Haley Threatt and Emilee Threatt; his step-father, Bud Osteen; three brothers, Jeff Cauthen and his wife, Glenda, Joey Cauthen and his wife, Darlene and Jay Cauthen and his wife, Rosemary; and a sister, Joy Cauthen Kast and her husband, Earl of Soldiers Grove, WI.

Jamey is preceded in death by his parents, Rayford Cauthen and Bonnie Osteen.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Jamey will be 2:00 pm Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Second Baptist Church by Dr. Brian Saxon. Burial will follow in Douglas Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the burial in the fellowship hall of Douglas Presbyterian Church. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Attention: Lancaster County Relay for Life, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
