LANCASTER, SC:::::::::: Mr. James Leroy Warren, age 75, died Friday, July 16, 2010 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born December 16, 1934 in Statesville, NC, the son of the late Harry U. Warren and Zella Marlowe Warren Noland and was the husband of Helen Weagly Warren. Mr. Warren retired from the Unites States military having served in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and also the South Carolina Air National Guard. He was also a retired data processing programmer and a charter member of the Church of Lancaster where he served as Elder and church treasurer. Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Helen Warren of the home, his step-father, T. C. Noland of Columbia, two sons, Charles Warren and his wife Gina and David Warren and his wife Ginger both of Lancaster, a daughter, Jody Warren Miles and her husband Roy, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Warren will be 3:00 pm Friday, July 23, 2010 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC by Rev. John C. Otis and Rev. Roy W. Miles with full military honors. The family of Mr. Warren will receive friends at the home, 344 Mercy Drive, and suggest in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Church of Lancaster, 206 Mercy Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720 or Christian Services, 101 South White Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.
