LANCASTER, SC - Mr. James Edmund Jim Wilson, III, age 67, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at his home. He was born April 4, 1950, a son of the late James Edmund Wilson II and Carolyn Ann Brown Wilson. He is the husband of Pansy Barrett Wilson. Mr. Wilson retired from the City of Lancaster as Finance Director. He enjoyed reading, downloading movies from his computer and playing racquetball with his best friend, Dick Van Hall. He attended Douglas Presbyterian Church and was a member of the choir.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Pansy Barrett Wilson; two step-sons, Toby Taylor and his wife, Amy and Chris Taylor and his wife, Tracie; two brothers, Michael Mike Wilson and his wife, Gartrelle and William Bill Wilson and his wife, Marcella; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Wilson; four step grandchildren, Graham Taylor and his wife, Haleigh, Jackson Taylor, Anson Taylor and Dawson Taylor; and a great grandson, Sawyer Jack Taylor.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Wilson will be 3:00 pm, Monday, November 6, 2017 at Douglas Presbyterian Church by Dr. Harris Ricks and Pastor Jim Smith.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Douglas Presbyterian Church Choir Fund, 2325 Sunday Place, Lancaster, SC 29720.
