MT. CROGHAN, SC ::::::::::Mr. James Robert Ingram, age 79, of 22358 Hwy. 9, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Chesterfield General Hospital. He was born August 22, 1929 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Clyde Ingram and Lela Baker Ingram and was the husband of Margaret Price Ingram. Mr. Ingram was a retired security officer, a member of the American Legion, Bethlehem Baptist Church and served our great country in the United States Army.Mr. Ingram was survived by his wife, Margaret Price Ingram of the home, 4 daughters, Jamie Hunter and her husband Barry of Lancaster, Sharmon Balderas and Gail Moore both of Pageland, and Faye Flores and her husband Jessie of Ruby, a son, Robbie Moore and his wife Cathy of Blacksburg, 6 sisters, Susan Oliver of Summerville, Doris Cain and Betty Farmer both of Pageland, Marion Heidorn, Venus Eury, and Eunice Wood all of Salisbury, NC, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Ingram will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Bethlehem Baptist Church of Pageland by Rev. Jackie Hinson with inurnment to follow in the church cemetery. The family of Mr. Ingram will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Friday, February 13, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. The Family will be at the home of his daughter, Jamie Hunter, 1061 Greenbriar Drive, Lancaster SC 29720.
