LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. James Hassell Dickerson, age 71, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his home. He was born November 11, 1940 in Floyd, VA the son of the late Ervin Dickerson and Cora Clemmons Dickerson and was the husband of the late Joyce Ann Yearout Dickerson. Mr. Dickerson was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Dickerson is survived by a son, David Dickerson and his wife Tammy, 3 daughters, Debbie Crenshaw, Catherine Dickerson and Wanda Richards and her husband Jeff all of Lancaster, a brother, Harold Dickerson of Virginia, a sister, Louise Dickerson of Blacksburg, VA, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Dickerson was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rosalee Dickerson and Frances Wade. The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Dickerson will be 2:00 pm Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family of Mr. Dickerson will receive friends immediately following the service and suggest memorials to charity of one's choice.
