LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. James Richard Deason, age 65, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at his home. He was born May 10, 1947 in Lancaster County, the son of Monnie Hudson Deason and the late J.T. Deason and was the husband of Dianne Baskins Deason. Mr. Deason retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mr. Deason is survived by his wife, Dianne B. Deason, his mother, Monnie H. Deason, a son, Roddney Deason and his wife Jamie, a brother, Larry Deason and his wife Hollis, 2 grandchildren, Devin Deason and Brittaney Deason, and special friends, Kevin and Jennifer Bailey and Justin Stillwell all of Lancaster.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Deason will be 11:00 am Monday, March 11, 2013 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Myers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family of Mr. Deason will receive friends immediately following the service in the Family Life Center and suggest in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to Bethlehem Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster SC 29720 and Agape Hospice, 1317 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
