LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mr. James Bobby Catoe, age 70, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born January 2, 1945 in Lancaster, the son of the late James William Catoe and Ollie Pate Catoe. He retired from Finish Master and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Catoe enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and spending time with his family.

Mr. Catoe is survived by his former wife and the Mother of his children, Annie Ruth Catoe of Lancaster; four daughters, Martha Pate and her husband Lloyd of Bethune, Laura Carnes and her husband Nathan of Kershaw, Sandra Baucom and her fiancé Todd Dawkins of Lancaster and Angela Phillips also of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Mr. Catoe was preceded in death by a sister, Lula Mae Thomas and two brothers, Randolph "Doc" Catoe and James Bruce Catoe.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Catoe will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Douglas Pate. Burial will follow at Charlesboro Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday evening, March 13, 2015 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC and other times at the home of his daughter, Sandra Baucom, 1537 Ruth Street, Lancaster.
