HEATH SPRINGS, SC :::::::: Mr. James E. Bowers, age 67, died Monday, October 08, 2012 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born January 23, 1945 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Kirby Bowers and Jeanette Mobley Bowers and was the husband of Priscilla Gregory Bowers. Mr. Bowers was a retired Land Manager for Bowater and a member of Salem United Methodist Church. Mr. Bowers is survived by a his wife, Priscilla G. Bowers of the home, a son, Chris Bowers and his wife Donna, a daughter, Michelle McDowell, 2 brothers, Richard Bowers and Jeff Bowers, 2 sisters, Diane Sims and Alice Dease, and 3 grandchildren, Lucas Bowers, Dillon and Morgan McDowell all of Heath Springs. The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Bowers will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Salem Cemetery by Rev. Bill McCown and Mr. George Flanders. The Family of Mr. Bowers will receive friends immediately following the service at Salem United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall and suggests memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, PO Box 36, Heath Springs, SC 29058.
