LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::Mr. James B. "Jimmie" Ragsdale, .age 81, of 2780 Neill Road, died Friday, August 08, 2008 at his home. He was born September 6, 1926 in Pageland of Chesterfield County, the son of John Frank Ragsdale and Glennie Pigg Ragsdale and was the husband of Lessie Lowery Ragsdale. Mr. Ragsdale retired as a supervisor from Springs Industries Grace Bleachery Packing Dept, was a Mason with Camp Creek Masonic Lodge# 317, a member, deacon and elder of Unity ARP Church.Mr. Ragsdale is survived by his wife, Lessie Lowery Ragsdale of the home, a daughter, Teresa Ragsdale Cabe and her husband Stephen Cabe of Lancaster, 1 Grandson Adam Cabe of Lancaster, 2 sisters Addie McNeely and Janie Courtney both of Lancaster, 2 Preceded brothers William Ragsdale and Archie Ragsdale, 1 preceded sister Mary Catherin Knight and a number of nieces and nephews The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Ragsdale will be 4:00 pm Sunday afternoon, August 10, 2008 at Unity ARP Church by Rev.Charles Hammond. Burial with Masonic Rites with Camp Creek Masonic Lodge # 317 will follow in the church cemetery.The Family of Mr. Ragsdale will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Unity ARP Church Building Fund or the American Heart Association 400 Perceival Road, Columbia, SC
