LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Jacqueline "Cindy" Starnes Stogner, age 54, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at her home. She was born June 3, 1969, daughter of the late Fred Clarence Starnes, Sr. and Jacqueline Ellis Starnes. Cindy loved going to the beach, mountains, camping and fishing. She was known as Nana to everyone, but her grandchildren were her world.

Cindy is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Acosta (Mauricio Cruz) and Christina Hayes (Sam); seven grandchildren, Juan, Julio, Ariel, Antonio, Kason, Keltsy, and Litzy; two brothers, Timothy Starnes and Larry Wayne Ryals; four sisters, Frances Taylor, Sarah Starnes, Rosa Hernandez (Noe), and Crystal Starnes (Brandy); six nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Freddie Starnes; and nephew, Chrisitan Starnes.

The Celebration of Life Service for Cindy will be 2:00 pm Saturday May 11, 2024, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
