LANCASTER, SC:::::: Mr. Jackie C. Price, age 75, of 1622 Flat Creek Road, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at his home. He was born September 27, 1935 in Chesterfield County, a son of the late Clarence Thomas Price and Mamie Elizabeth Rollings Price and was the husband of Nancy Catledge Price. Mr. Price retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Price is survived by his wife Nancy C. Price of the home, 2 sons, Allen Price of the home, and Chris Price and his wife Jerilyn of Canton, GA, 3 brothers; Tommy Price and his wife Betty Jo of Jefferson, John "Dick" Price and his wife Dianne of McBee, and Marshall Price and his wife Melissa of Midland, NC, 2 sisters, Doris Funderburk and her husband Mike and Joyce Ottoway both of Monroe, NC and 2 grandchildren; Christian Price and Ian Price. Mr. Price was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Heyward, Edward and Ricky Price. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Price will be 3:00 pm, Friday, July 15, 2011 at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Curtis Laney and Rev. David Sellers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mr. Price will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Hartley Funeral Home and the family suggests memorials to Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Building Fund 1616 McBee Hwy., Jefferson, SC 29718.
