LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Jackie "Peet" Baker Bailey, age 74, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Lancaster, SC a daughter of the late Gary Baker and Alma Williams Baker and was the wife of the late Charles "Wayne" Bailey.  Mrs. Bailey enjoyed puzzles, reading, painting, crafts, watching red birds and treasure hunting at Goodwill with her daughters.  She retired after 23 years from Springs Memorial Hospital, where she was in Health Information Management.  She loved to cook and helped her daughter with her catering business.  Her family was her most treasured gift and her fur baby, Abby.  Mrs. Bailey was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by four daughters, Renee Bailey Knight and her husband, Dan, Kaye Bailey Newton and her husband, Mark, Sharon Bailey Taylor and her husband, Grey, and Crystal Bailey Cole and her husband Nelson; nine grandchildren, Danny Knight, Allison Knight Tillman and her husband, Garrett, Jacob Knight, Jeremy Newton, Hunter Newton, Audrey Taylor, Megan Taylor, Austin Cole, and Bailey Cole; one great grandchild, Olivia Kate Tillman.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Bailey; her parents; and two sisters, Ida Elizabeth Smith and Dorothy Shehane.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Bailey will be 4:00 pm, Monday, April 8, 2019 at Camp Creek Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Kelvin Hinson and Rev. Randy Mellichamp.  Burial will follow at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, Monday, April 8, 2019 in the church sanctuary.
