CHARLOTTE, NC :::::::::: Mr. Jack Anthony Sweeney, age 27, formerly of Lancaster, died Saturday, February 6, 2010. He was born August 24, 1982 in Albany, OR, the son of David Paul Sweeney and Linda Cumplido Bender. Mr. Sweeney was the General Manager of Hess Tires in Monroe and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Sweeney is survived by his mother, Linda C. Bender and her husband Robert of Lancaster, his father, David P. Sweeney of Vancouver, WA, a daughter, Alethia Nicole Sweeney of Hawaii, and a brother, David Paul Sweeney, Jr. of Albany, OR. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Sweeney will be 3:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2010 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Tillman with cremation to follow. The Family of Mr. Sweeney will receive friends from 1:30 - 3:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers suggest memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, Lancaster Co.
