LARGO, FL ~ Mr. Jackie "Jack" Cook, age 60, formerly of Monroe, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at his home in Largo, FL after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born in Union County, NC, son of the late Frank and Margaret Cook. Jack was an outdoorsman who loved working in his yard, hunting, and fishing.

Jack is survived by his wife, Veronica Cook of Largo, FL, daughter Samantha Melton (Jason) of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Bayleigh Melton and William Melton of Lancaster; sister, Diane Ferretis; two brothers, Ronnie Cook and Larry Cook both of Monroe, NC.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bud Cook; and nephew, Allen "Booger" Cook.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Jack will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the home of Jason and Samantha Melton, 2239 Felly Lane, Lancaster, SC 29720.
