LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Irma Pearline Green Harris, age 90, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at her home. She was born March 18, 1923 in Phenix City, AL, the daughter of the late Clifford Green and Pearl Williamson Green and was the wife of the late Roy Morris Harris. Mrs. Harris retired from JP Stevens and also Springs Industries and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harris is survived by 2 sons, Tony M. Harris and his wife Cathy and Kenneth R. Harris and his wife Paulette both of Lancaster, 2 daughters, Penny Boling and her husband Norman of Charlotte and Wanda Gainey and her husband Anthony of Lancaster, 8 grandchildren, David Gainey, Kelly Christopher, Christopher Boling, Mitchell Boling, Kyle Harris, Kevin Harris, Jill Griffin, and Jennifer Adams, and 8 great grandchildren, Tyler Christopher, Kailyn and Kinsley Griffin, Kylee Dawn Harris, Kennedy Grace Harris, Mallory, Mason and Jordan Adams.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by a granddaughter, April Dawn Harris.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Harris will be 3:00 pm Thursday, October 31, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Patrick Clark and Dr. Harold Owens. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The Family of Mrs. Harris will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to New Hope Baptist Church, Building Fund, 3731 Lynwood Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.
