LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Iris Marrero Scheuttig, age 77, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023.  She was born March 9, 1945, in Bronx, NY, a daughter of the late Marcelino Marrero and the late Billie Reina Marrero and was the wife of the late James Scheuttig. Mrs. Scheuttig volunteered at MUSC- Lancaster for several years. She was an avid reader and loved knitting and making hats and booties for children in the NICU. Mrs. Scheutting was a family lady who loved her family dearly.

Mrs. Scheuttig is survived by her two sons, Drew Scheuttig of Lancaster, and Michael Scheuttig of Colorado; her daughter, Heather, and her husband, Jonathan Biddle of Smith Station, Alabama; one granddaughter, MacKenzie Scheuttig of New York; and her sister, Ellen Zadory of Bumpass, Virginia.

Mrs. Scheuttig was preceded in death by her husband, James Scheuttig; and her parents, Marcelino and Billie Marrero.
