LANCASTER, SC :::::::::::Mrs. Inez Smith Mills, age 86, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born May 8, 1926 in Pomaria, SC, the daughter of the late John William Smith and Sadie Fowler Smith and was the wife of the late Julian Edward Mills. Mrs. Mills was a homemaker and a charter member of Grace Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Mills is survived by a son, Ronald Mills and his wife Phyllis, 2 daughters, Donna M. McCowan and her husband Donald and Julie M. Small all of Lancaster, 2 brothers, Raymond Smith and Harold Smith both of Pomaria, SC, a sister, Dollie Hallman of West Columbia, 5 grandchildren, Melanie Bell, Kristen Jackson, Kelly McCowan, Erica Evans, and Casey McCowan, and 8 great grandchildren, Jenna Miller and Caylen Miller, Hanna Bell, Colby, Brady and Cade Jackson, Haylea and Kyndall Evans.

Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Mark Smith, Gary Lee Smith, Thomas Smith, and William Smith, and a sister, Georgia Goodlett.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Mills will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Grace Presbyterian Church by Rev. Russell Wimmer. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Mills will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am in the church fellowship hall and the family suggests memorials be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 1026 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720.

Funeral Service - 11:00 am Saturday, December 29th at Grace Presbyterian Church.

Visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 am in the fellowship hall.
