LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Ida Mae Richardson Pardue, age 88, died Monday, February 23, 2009 at Lancaster Convalescent Center where she was a resident. She was born July 16, 1920 in Union County, NC the daughter of the late Joseph Richardson and Missouri Ellen McCoy Richardson and was the wife of the late Harold Leon Pardue, Sr. Mrs. Pardue retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.Mrs. Pardue was survived by 2 sons, Gene Pardue and Joseph Michael Pardue, Sr. and his wife Candace, a daughter, Jane P. Blackmon all of Lancaster, 11 grandchildren; Jody and Jamie Pardue, Josh and Jantzen Blackmon, Charllotte Saucier, Jessica Pardue, Cassie Matthews, Jon Casey, Amanda Insley, Chuck and Andy Pardue and 16 great grandchildren.Mrs. Pardue was preceded in death by 3 sons, Charles Pardue, Harold Leon Pardue, Jr., and Leonard Pardue, a daughter, Ann Dagenhart, 2 brothers, Frank Richardson and Joe Richardson, 5 sisters, Ellie Deason, Kate Sherrin, Nancy Floyd, Maggie Richardson and Mary Faulkenberry and a grandson, David Dagenhart.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Pardue will be 4:00 pm, Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Zion United Methodist Church by Rev. Bill Vines and Rev. Donald Tillman with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Pardue will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggests memorial contributions be made to Zion United Methodist Church, General Fund, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.The Family will be at the home of her son, Mike and Candy Pardue, 1506 Old Pardue Road, Lancaster.
