LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Ida Faile Barton, age 87, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012. She was born August 15, 1924 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late McKinley Faile and Lois Snipes Faile and was the wife of the late Gerald Barton. Mrs. Barton retired from Springs Industries and was a member of White Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Barton is survived by 2 sons, William Stanley "Stan" Barton of Belmont, NC, Jerry Lynn Barton and his wife Donna of Myrtle Beach, 2 daughters, Sandra McManus of Mt. Croghan and Joanne Stogner and her husband Randy of Rock Hill, a sister, Betty Jo Player of Lincolnton, NC, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Tommy Faile and Rev. Robert Faile, a sister, Aline Stratton and a grandson, Ryan Casey McManus. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Barton will be 2:00 pm, Friday, April 27, 2012 at White Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Donald Tillman. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Barton will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 pm Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Hartley Funeral Home and other times at the home of Joanne Stogner, 4607 Pennington Meadows Circle, Rock Hill.
