LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Howard Vincent Miller, Jr., age 81, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022. He was born February 27, 1941, in Newark, NJ, a son of the late Howard Vincent Miller, Sr. and the late Josephine Cammarata Carlson and was the husband of Dawn Marie Montgomery Miller. Mr. Miller proudly served in The United States Navy for 7 ½ years. He retired after 22 years of being maintenance supervisor for Tropicana Products. He was a jokester who loved giving his family a hard time. He was a handyman who could fix anything. Mr. Miller enjoyed woodworking, collecting tools, and camping. He loved history and touring battlefields and traveling to the east coast. Mr. Miller was a family man who enjoyed spending as much time with his family as he could.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dawn Miller; three daughters, Kimberly Marie Miller Breeze (Chad Laughner), Rhonda Marie Miller Martin (Scott), and Dawn Michelle Miller McCarthy (Kevin); eight grandchildren, Shawn, Courtney, Kenneth, Amber, Ashlynn, Lindsay, Jessica, and Ashley; five great-grandchildren, Lily, Abbigail, Leah, Lincoln, and Jace; four sisters, Marianne, Lillie, Joyce, and Cathy; and two brothers, Robert and Richard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Phillip.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
