INDIAN LAND, SC:::::::::: Mr. Henry Michael Mennella, age 91, died Monday, March 22, 2010. He was born July 29, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Joseph Mennella and Christine Russo Mennella and was the husband of Mary Amato Mennella. He was previously employed at Robert Hall and later retired from Continental Corporation. He was awarded the Purple Heart while serving our country in the United States Army during World War II and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Mennella is survived by his wife, Mary Amato Mennella, a son, Robert Mennella and his fiance Vera Marabella of Indian Land, a brother, Salvatore Mennella of Deltona, FL, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 29, 2010 at St. Catherine Catholic Church by Father David A. Runnion with entombment to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.
