LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Henry David Gamble, age 82, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born April 25, 1931in Van Wyck, SC, the son of the late James Wesley Gamble and Sarah Bessie Massey Gamble and was the husband of Margaret Usher Gamble. Mr. Gamble retired from Springs Industries and was a member of the Church of God of Lancaster.

Mr. Gamble is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Usher Gamble of the home, a son, Ricky David Gamble and his fiance, Martha Mackey of Lancaster, a brother, Donald Gamble of Lancaster, and one grandchild, Hope Simpson Gamble and her fiance Reuben.

Mr. Gamble was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Joe Gamble, Johnny Gamble, Charlie Gamble and Dan Gamble, and 4 sisters, Addie Williams, Ethel Harris, Bessie Therrell and Maggie McAteer.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Gamble will be 3:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2013 at The Chapel of Hartley Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Doug Martin. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mr. Gamble will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Monday, May 6, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions to The Church of God of Lancaster, 1437 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
