HEATH SPRINGS, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Helen Catoe Kirk, age 67, of 2757 Rocky River Road, died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Hospice and Community Care of Rock Hill. She was born February 21, 1942 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Jesse Carson Catoe and Georgia Lea Ellis Catoe and was the wife of the late Tommy Kirk. Mrs. Kirk was a retired Nursing Assistant for Marion Sims Nursing Home and was a very active member of Rich Hill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 4 -5 year olds for 30 years. Mrs. Kirk is survived by 2 sons, Michael Kirk and his wife Sandra and Danny Kirk and his wife Susan both of Lancaster, a sister, Frances Catoe Eubanks and her husband Harold and 5 grandchildren, Brittany, Dana, Will, Brandon, and Matthew.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Kirk will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 12, 2009 at Rich Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Kirk will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions to Rich Hill Baptist Church, Preschool and Children's Dept., 1557 E. Doc Garris Road, Heath Springs, SC
