LANCASTER, SC ~ Heather Renee Patterson, age 50, passed away, Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home. She was born June 23, 1974, in Lancaster, SC, daughter of Richard Patterson and Susan Roddey Morris. Heather loved reading, dancing, music, animals, and cooking. She attended culinary school and loved creating, cooking, and eating delicious meals. Family was very important to her, and she loved them dearly, especially her daughter, Irie. She will be remembered for her charismatic, engaging personality, her zest for life, and lighting up any room she entered.

Heather is survived by her daughter, Irie Guglieri; father, Richard Patterson; mother, Susan Morris and stepfather, Louis; brothers, Brian Patterson (Robyn) and Scott Patterson (Holly); sisters, Tanya McLain (Denny) and Brook Rainey (Ray); aunt, Debbie Baker (Reid); uncles, Michael Roddey (LaVerne), Tracy Roddey (LouAnn), Pat Roddey (Linda), and David Patterson (Kevin); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Celebration of Life Service for Heather will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 23, 2024, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Patrick Roddey.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorials may be made to Nami of the Piedmont, 114 Williams Street, Suite 113, Lancaster, SC 29720.
