HEATH SPRINGS, SC:::::::::: Mr. Heath Colby Adams, age 25, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born October 10, 1990 in Charlotte, NC, a son of Greg Adams and Debra Moore Walker. He was a welder and fabricator and was employed with Vans Welding and Ornamental. Colby was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved animals and was very athletic playing both soccer and basketball. His favorite music was country music and he enjoyed cooking and playing his guitar. Colby was a member of Rich Hill Baptist Church.

Colby is survived by his mother, Debra Moore Walker and her husband, Brooks of Heath Springs; his father, Greg Adams and his wife, Amy of Lancaster; a daughter, Harper Adehlyn Adams and Harpers mother, Cara Hunter of Pageland; two brothers, Dustin Adams of Sanford, FL and Jordan Adams and his wife, Kayla of Kershaw; two step brothers, Trey Spinks of Kershaw and Josiah Walker of Jacksonville, FL; two step sisters, Megan Spinks of Lancaster and Bethany Walker of Jacksonville, FL; his paternal grandmother, Kathleen Kit Adams of Lancaster and maternal grandfather, Delbert Moore of Lancaster.

Colby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin Gregory Adams and Maxine Hilton Moore.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Colby will be 4:00 pm, Thursday, September 1, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Randy Hatcher and Dr. L. Brooks Walker.

The Family will receive friends from 2:00 4:00 pm Thursday at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster and suggest in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Custodial/Scholarship Fund for Harper A.
