LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. Hazel H. "Tib" Robinson, age 76, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at his home. He was born July 24, 1935 in Lancaster County, the son of the late John Richard Robinson and Eva Hinson Robinson and was the husband of Anita Sanham Robinson. Mr. Robinson retired as Tech Sgt. in the US Air Force after 20 years of service, then retired from Westinghouse Electric, was a member of the American Legion, and the Air Force Sgt.'s Association.Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Anita S. Robinson of the home, 2 sons, Dean Robinson and wife Charlotte of Rock Hill, and Gary Robinson of Lancaster, 3 grandchildren, Melissa R. Swartz and husband John, Ashley R. Stroupe and husband Jason, and Brian J. Robinson, 2 great grandchildren, Bella Stroupe and Austin Swartz, a brother, Johnny R. Robinson of Rock Hill, and a sister, Shirley R. Morgan of Lancaster. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen R. Griffin and 2 brothers, William L. Robinson and David J. Hinson. The Family of Mr. Robinson will receive friends at the home and the family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Humane Society of Lancaster, PO Box 1825, Lancaster SC 29721 or American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
