LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mrs. Hazel Lee Ghent Cauthen, age 96, died August 22, 2008 at White Oak Manor where she was a resident. She was born January 26, 1912 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late John Wesley Ghent and Mollie Louise Baker Ghent and was the wife of the late Louie Boyce Cauthen. Mrs. Cauthen retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cauthen was survived by a daughter, Joanne C. Estridge and her husband Joe of Lancaster. Mrs. Cauthen was the last member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by 16 siblings. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Cauthen will be 11:00 am, Monday, August 25, 2008 at Grace United Methodist Church by Rev. Kathy Hudson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Cauthen will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday evening, August 24, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Grace United Methodist Church, PO Box 418, Lancaster, SC 29721 or Hospice of Lancaster, 902 W.
