LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Hazel C. "Rick" Caskey, age 59, of 1101 Laurel Avenue, died Saturday morning, November 15, 2008 at Carolina's Medical Center. He was born August 10, 1949, the son of William Joseph Caskey and Hazel Ruth Small Carpenter. Mr. Caskey retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Caskey was survived by his father; William J. Caskey and his wife Martha of Florence, his mother; Hazel Ruth Carpenter and her husband Chris of Fort Lawn, a daughter, Marie Caskey of the home, 2 sons, Alan Bell Caskey of Kershaw County, and Max Caskey of the home, a brother Danny Caskey of Texas, a sister, Becky Fincher of Columbia, and 3 grandchildren, Elaina Grace Horne, Amber Caskey and Gage Caskey.The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Caskey will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Nic Natale. The Family of Mr. Caskey will receive friends from one hour prior to the service on Wednesday and in lieu of flowers suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
