KERSHAW, SC Mr. Harry Lee Hinson, age 92, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Springdale Health Care Center. He was born January 17, 1920 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Jack Hinson and Julie Robinson Hinson and was the husband of Ruth Small Hinson. Mr. Hinson retired from the Town of Kershaw as Supervisor of the maintenance department. He served our country in the United States Army during WWII and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Ruth Small Hinson of the home, a son, Greg Hinson of North Carolina, a step grandson, Lee Waters and his wife Rhonda and 2 step great grandchildren, Mychal and Allyssa Waters.Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by a son, Allen Hinson. The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Hinson will be 11:00 am Monday, August 20, 2012 at Kershaw City Cemetery by Rev. Hugh McKinney with burial to follow. The Family of Mr. Hinson will receive friends immediately following the service.
