ROCK HILL, SC::::::::: Mr. Harold Buddy Thomas Johnson, Jr., age 35, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from injuries from an automobile accident. He was born March 17, 1981 in Lancaster, the son of Harold Thomas Buddy Johnson, Sr. and Theresa Carnes Johnson and the husband of Mary Vicary Johnson. Mr. Johnson was employed with Lee Electric in Newberry, SC. He loved dirt track racing, building computers, being a lineman and storm duty. Buddy was a family guy and loved his nieces and nephews; he was their favorite uncle.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Mary V. Johnson; his parents, Harold and Theresa Johnson; a son, Andrew Vicary of New York; a brother, Brandon Johnson (Amanda); three sisters, Sharae Johnson, Regina Tant and Lisa Stogner (Scott); three nieces, Sienna Earl, Brynley Johnson and Camryn Johnson; and eight nephews, Blake Johnson, Chris Tant, Justin Johnson, Stephen Clyburn, Dalton and CJ Cowell, Dave Jr. and Logan Vicary.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Johnson will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 17, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Lynn Hough with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 7:00 pm Saturday evening at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC. In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
