LANCASTER, SC… Mr. Harold F. Miller, Sr., age 74, died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born December 12, 1944 in Lancaster, SC, the son of the late Clyde F. Miller and Ollie Faile Newell and was the husband of Mary Faile Miller.  Mr. Miller loved his family and friends.  He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Lancaster where he served as a greeter and helped with collecting money on Sunday's until his sickness began.  Mr. Miller loved his church and the people there.  He served well behind the scenes quietly but made an impact on many.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary F. Miller; four sons, Harold F. Miller, Jr. and his wife, Tina, Scott Miller and his wife, Gwen, Jimmy Miller and his wife, Crystal, and Randy H. Carnes and his wife, Donna; two daughters, Sheila Outen and her husband, Jim, and Carolyn Bradley and her husband Neal; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two sisters, Margie Kennington and Judy Simpson.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Miller will be 2:30 pm Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Second Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Helm.  Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm, Tuesday, February 12, 2019, prior to the service at Second Baptist Church, 1426 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, SC.  For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lancaster County Relay for Life, 1901 Brunswick Ave., #100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
