HEATH SPRINGS, SC – Mr. Harold Wayne Faile, age 88, peacefully entered his heavenly home on May 15, 2026. He was born on November 9, 1937, in Lancaster, SC. He was the son of the late Jacob EbayFaile and the late Allie Faile Faile and was the loving and devoted husband of Mae Carol Mungo Faile.

Mr. Faile was a faithful and devoted member of Rich Hill Baptist Church for many years. His faith was an important part of his life, and he dearly loved attending church and spending time with his beloved William Hinson Sunday School Class, where he formed many lasting friendships and cherished memories.

Mr. Faile was a loving family man who treasured every moment spent with those he loved most. He took great pride in caring for his yard, always keeping it neat, beautiful, and welcoming. In his younger years, he also enjoyed fishing and the peaceful moments it brought him.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his strong faith, his dedication to his family, and the simple joys that made his life so meaningful.

Mr. Faile is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 66 years, Mae Faile; his daughter, Karen Kennington; his two grandchildren, Casey Wayne Faile (Alisha), and Holly Marie Faile; his four great-grandchildren, Allie Wallace, Willow Faile, Brien Crump, and Noah Crump; his three nieces, Linda Green Grady (Richard), Wanda Outen, and Cindy Riggins (Rick); his two nephews, Billy Ray Helms, and Roger Green (Suzanne); brother-in-law, George B. Mungo (Doris); and many special great nieces and nephews, family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Wayne Faile; his son-in-law, Micah Kennington; his parents, Jacob and Allie Faile; and his 10 siblings, Azilee Faile Catoe, William Thomas Faile, Joy Mae Faile, Roylee Faile, Ora Faile, Floyd Faile, Billye Faile Green, Faile twins, Ralph Faile.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Faile will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Rich Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Steve Nunn and Rev. Rod Yow.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Ministry Building and at all other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Faile. Private burial will be in the church cemetery.
