LANCASTER, SC . Ms. Gwendolyn Lenora Adams Hinson, age 71, died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. She was born April 21, 1939 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Harold Adams and Sara Etta Kirk Adams Rabon. Ms. Hinson was a 1960 Graduate of Winthrop University and taught school for many years. Ms. Hinson is survived by two sons, Dwayne Edward Hinson and his wife Patricia of Severn, NC and David Allen Hinson of Branchville, VA, two daughters, Melinda Hinson Woodward and her husband Robert of Franklin, VA and Sherrie Hinson Senter and her husband James of Erwin, NC, a brother, Mark Rabon of Beaufort, SC, ten grandchildren, Jamie Beatty, Melissa Watson, Jamie Worrell, Megan Woodward, Aaron Senter, Amber Hinson, Sara Woodward, Dustin Senter, Lindsey Hinson and Seth Woodward, and six great grandchildren, Colby and Kaylin Jones, Addison and Jaden Watson, Savannah Beatty and Angel Rose Covington.The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Ms. Hinson will be 2:00 pm, Monday, May 31, 2010 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Charles Rabon. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
