LANCASTER, SC - Mrs. Grace Gerald Baskins, 87, passed away Friday, September 9 in her home.

The daughter of the late Mr. Eric Henry Gerald and Mrs. Pearl Ena Tolson Gerald, Mrs. Baskins was born February 3, 1929 in Pageland, SC, delivered in her parents' home by family physician, D.C. Griggs, MD. She was married to the late Morris Baskins.

Mrs. Baskins is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Baskins Butler of Moncks Corner, SC; a son, Morris Gerald Baskins of Lancaster; two grandchildren; a sister, Edo Gerald Kelly of Anchorage, AK; a host of nieces and nephews, Mona Mangum Kobernus, Sonya Kelly Battley, Sue Hall Wetzel, Diane Baskins Deason, Hollis Baskins Deason, Cynthia Baskins, Tom Mangum, Riley Mangum, Bill Mangum, Reggie Kelly, Jerry L. Baskins, Lonnie Davis, Bob Hall and Jackie Baskins; and cousins, Sarah Tolson and Marline Tolson.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family of Mrs. Baskins will receive friends in the home at 2130 Sparrow Lane on Sunday, September 11 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
