LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mrs. Gladys Funderburk Baskins, age 85, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Lancaster Convalescent Center where she was a resident. She was born October 28, 1923 in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of the late Haron Funderburk and Irene Funderburk Funderburk and was the wife of the late Willie Lee Baskins. Mrs. Baskins retired from the Lancaster County School District and was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.Mrs. Baskins is survived by a son, Jerry Baskins and his wife Freida of Indian Land, 2 daughters, Glenda Dianne Deason and her husband Richard and Hollis Deason and her husband Larry both of Lancaster, a brother, Broadus Funderburk of Pageland, 3 sisters, Jane Riner, Sybil Schwartz and Jo Riner all of Lancaster, 3 grandchildren, Roddney Deason, Tommy Deason and Carrie Ivey and 5 great grandchildren.Mrs. Baskins was preceded in death by a brother, C.L. FunderburkThe Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Baskins will be 3:00 pm, Friday, May 15, 2009 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church by Rev.
