INDIAN LAND, SC :::::::::: Mr. Gerard Peter Jordan, age 66, died Saturday, September 27, 2014. He was born March 7, 1948 in Roscrea, Ireland, the son of the late John Jordan and Marie Becker Jordan and was the husband of Kathleen Degnan Jordan. Mr. Jordan retired from the US Postal Service. He was a member of the American Pool Association, Sun City Billiards Club, and Sun City Tri State Club. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and served our country in the United States Army.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife, Kathleen Degnan Jordan, a son, Michael Jordan and his wife Melissa of New York, three daughters, Kelly Van Daley and her husband Jeffrey of Indian Land, Kathleen Jordan of Charlotte and Elizabeth Jordan of Indian Land, two grandchildren, Nathan and Audrey Jordan and his mother in law, Mary Ann Degnan of Indian Land.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Jordan will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church by Father John Giuliani.

The Family of Mr. Jordan will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, September 30, 2014, at Burgess Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Gardens of Growth, ALS Chapter, Charlotte, NC with web link tiny.cc/NYC4ALS.com.
