LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Geraldine Smith Buhl, age 89, died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at White Oak Manor where she was a resident. She was born March 27, 1923 in Emporium, PA, the daughter of the late Ernest Smith and Florence Gallagher Smith and was the wife of the late Norbert Richard Buhl. Mrs. Buhl was a homemaker and member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Mrs. Buhl is survived by 2 sons, Roger Buhl and his wife Frances of Elberton, GA and Kenneth Buhl of Ambridge, PA, 3 brothers, Richard Smith of WA, Lawrence Smith of Portland, OR, and William Smith of Erie, PA, 2 sisters, Evelyn Kochera of Pleasant City, OH, and Eleanor Stein of Magadore, OH, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Buhl will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at St. Catherine Catholic Church by Father David A. Runnion. Inurnment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Springs Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, 800 W. Meeting Street, Lancaster SC 29720.
